Eric Arnold, Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Counsel for Old Republic Relocation Services, recently has been appointed a member of the Government Affairs Committee (GA Committee) of the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (WERC).
The international trade association for the relocation industry, WERC monitors legislative and regulatory developments on behalf of the industry through five forums that address specific areas of focus: Global, Immigration, Regulatory and Compliance, Tax and Real Estate and Mortgage. The GA Committee analyzes the issues presented in the forums and makes recommendations to the WERC Board of Directors for appropriate action. Prior to Eric’s appointment to the GA Committee, he served a three-year term as Chair of the Real Estate and Mortgage Forum.
“Eric has been active in WERC for many years and has distinguished himself as a dedicated member and contributor in the organization,” stated Linda Hargreaves, SCRP, SGMS-T, Senior Vice President of Old Republic Diversified Services, Inc. and Manager, Old Republic Relocation Services. She added, “It’s quite an honor for Eric to be selected as one of the three independent members (those who are not Forum Chairs), as those roles are normally filled by executive leadership of relocation management companies.”
Eric joined Old Republic Title in January 2017. Since he joined the Company, he has been instrumental in elevating Old Republic Relocation Services within WERC and the relocation industry. Eric is a frequent speaker at regional relocation conferences and WERC-hosted webinars, and has authored several articles for WERC’s MOBILITY Magazine. His new appointment to the GA Committee will continue to promote Old Republic Relocation Services as an industry leader.
Congratulations to Eric on his new appointment.
