Dana Solms

Old Republic Title is pleased to announce that Dana Solms, Senior Vice President and New England Division Manager, has been promoted to President, Old Republic Eastern Title, Inc.

In connection with his promotion, he joins the Title Group's Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and also has been appointed Executive Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

Dana has become an increasingly important contributor to the Title Group's organized growth during his tenure with the Company. He originally joined the organization in 1988 as an Agency Representative. He left the Company for a time to pursue his law degree. After he completed law school, he rejoined Old Republic Title in October 1993 as Associate Counsel for the New Hampshire office. In 1998, he was promoted to Branch Manager and New Hampshire State Counsel.

In 2002, his area of responsibility expanded when he became Operations Manager for Northern New England with oversight of operations throughout New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. He was promoted and named New England States Manager in 2004, and then achieved the level of Vice President. In 2009, he was appointed Senior Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire's Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, NH, Dana earned his juris doctor degree in 1992. His undergraduate degree is from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. He is a member of the Bar Associations of New Hampshire and Maine.

Dana has contributed a large body of work within the title industry and has played an integral role in the leadership of the Title Group's National Leadership Team, as the NLT's Board Chair. Dana succeeds Rick Wilson, who left the Company.
