Michael J. Dolan, Vice President, ORNTIC, and South Florida Operations Manager, has been promoted to Florida Operations Manager. In this role, he will oversee Old Republic Title’s operations in Florida, supporting the state’s three area managers.
Michael joined Old Republic Title as South Florida Operations Manager in March 2014. He and his team have been instrumental in building our Company’s presence in South Florida, especially the commercial business. He continues to manage the Old Republic Title office in Deerfield Beach, leading its agency operations, title plant, sales and marketing, escrow and administration.
Michael has been working in the title insurance industry in Florida for nearly 20 years. Prior to that, he was a financial planner for five years and worked for 15 years marketing programs to the lending community. In 2002, he began his title insurance career as a Title Examiner/Underwriter in Miami. He then joined another title company as South Florida Manager until 2010, when he joined a major national underwriter as Commercial Operations Director and Commercial Underwriter, based in Sunrise, FL.
Michael has a passion for and expertise in handling larger, commercial transactions that involve new condo developments, apartment buildings, shopping malls, REITS, national home builder sites, complex financing, termination of condominiums and time shares. His blended background and experience in finance, title insurance, sales/marketing and operational leadership give Michael valuable insight as he works with our area managers to advance ORT’s position in some of Florida’s most competitive markets.
