Bringing more than 25 years of commercial title industry experience, Greg joined Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) in 2016 as Senior Vice President, ORNTIC and Manager of the National Commercial Services (NCS) Chicago operation.
With deep industry knowledge and a reputation for providing exceptional customer service, Greg leads a highly experienced and talented team of title, escrow and underwriting specialists in providing the transactional expertise required to close complex commercial transactions involving a wide range of industries across the country. In addition, he directs the operation’s national business development initiatives for expanding Old Republic’s national commercial footprint.
Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Greg held positions as senior national counsel and area manager of commercial divisions in Chicago and Indianapolis with another major national underwriter. Greg earned his Juris Doctorate from Hasting College of the Law in San Francisco, CA after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA.
Heather R. Schuette is Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Senior Underwriting Counsel for the National Commercial Services (NCS) operation in Chicago, Illinois. In her role she focuses on the underwriting of title insurance policy and endorsement coverages for complex single and multi-site commercial real estate transactions for properties located throughout the United States, participates in the training and development of junior underwriters and assists other senior-level underwriters with risk evaluation and resolution of complicated title issues.
Heather has over 18 years of experience in the title insurance industry, including underwriting and claims/litigation administration. Prior to joining Old Republic National Title, she spent over 14 years as commercial underwriting counsel for another major national title insurer. In addition to underwriting title insurance policies issued directly by the title insurer, Heather has also handled risk analysis and approval of high-liability policies issued by commercial title insurance agents located around the country, giving her unique insight and perspective into both sides of the title industry.
Heather is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. She is a member of the Title Counsel Committee and ALTA/NSPS Survey Work Group for the American Land Title Association, and an active participant of the Illinois Land Title Association and former member of its Board of Directors.
Jonathan is a Commercial Counsel for the National Commercial Services (NCS) Chicago operation, where he underwrites title insurance policy coverages for commercial real estate transactions including complex high-liability, multi-site, multi-state portfolios. In this role, he negotiates title policy and endorsement coverages in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, refinancing and construction financing of a wide variety of commercial real property assets.
Jonathan serves as a resource for customers regarding all facets of title insurance, title curative and real estate settlement matters. In addition, he offers guidance to internal staff, leads department underwriting meetings and presents on a myriad of title insurance industry topics.
Prior to joining NCS in 2019, Jonathan acted as Underwriting Counsel and Title Department Manager of a Chicago-based title agency. Jonathan also practiced as an associate of a Chicago-based law firm representing national lenders and loan servicers in default litigation and related matters.
Dione is a National Commercial Underwriter for the Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) National Commercial Services (NCS) operation in Chicago, Illinois, where she underwrites multi-state, multi-site portfolio transactions, as well as complex single-asset transactions throughout the United States. In this role she negotiates title policy and endorsement coverages for commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, refinancing and construction financing.
With more than 20 years of title insurance industry experience, Dione has developed deep expertise in several market segments in the process of guiding the real estate departments of Fortune 500 companies through restaurant franchise, multi-unit housing, healthcare, and shopping centers transactions. She has been awarded both the National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association and the Ohio Land Title Professional (OLTP) designation from the Ohio Land Title Association. Dione is a transactional leader who advocates teamwork, positivity, and creating frameworks for solutions.
A licensed title agent in the state of Ohio, Dione is also a past president and member of the Ohio Land Title Association and serves on several committees for the American Land Title Association. Dione commits her spare time to serving on the boards of nonprofit organizations and as the percussionist and sound engineer for her band, which performs at nursing homes and non-profit organizations in the Columbus area.
Kevin Knoll is an Associate Commercial Counsel at the National Commercial Services (NCS) Chicago office. In his role, he underwrites title insurance policy coverages for commercial real estate transactions including complex high-liability, multi-site, multi-state portfolios involving a variety of property types.
Kevin graduated cum laude from UIC John Marshall Law School, and he is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. Kevin previously worked at a Chicago law firm focusing on business licensing and zoning related matters and has also served as a judicial extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County.
As a lifelong Chicagoan, Kevin enjoys playing 16-inch softball, rooting for Chicago sports teams, and volunteering at Misericordia Home, a not-for-profit center for persons with developmental disabilities.
Michele Hastings serves as a Commercial Sales Executive for the National Commercial Services (NCS) operation in Chicago. With nearly a decade of title industry experience, Michele is skilled in working with a wide range of clients including Commercial Real Estate Attorneys, Commercial Real Estate Brokers, Builders/Developers, Commercial Lenders and Commercial Investors in the Chicagoland area and nationwide.
Michele is a results-driven account manager with a proven track record of understanding client needs and exceeding expectations. She focuses on building strong relationships through effective communication, responsiveness and working with her underwriting and service delivery team to provide creative solutions to the often-complex challenges of commercial transactions.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communications from Texas Christian University. In her leisure time, she enjoys skiing, golf and travel.
Terry is Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Commercial Sales Representative for the National Commercial Services (NCS) Chicago office. He has been engaged in the national title insurance business for over 30 years. During that time, he has been involved in some of the largest and most sophisticated real estate transactions in the country. Terry has extensive experience in working with REIT’s, law firms, lenders, developers and investors in all segments of the commercial real estate business.
Terry has a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northwestern University. Terry is a past president of several organizations including the Chicago Real Estate Council, the Commerce Alumni Association at the University of Illinois and the Union League Club of Chicago. He resides in Park Ridge Illinois, has two daughters and four granddaughters.
Ben is a Commercial Sales Executive for the National Commercial Services (NCS) operation in Chicago. He brings more than 5 years of commercial title experience to the team and has coordinated hundreds of real estate transactions nationwide involving multifamily, industrial, retail, office and other commercial property types.
Ben is dedicated to providing superior customer service. Working in close collaboration with his Chicago NCS team of expert underwriters, title and settlement professionals, Ben anticipates and proactively responds to his clients’ needs to ensure the smoothest transaction experience possible.
Ben is an active member of CREW and serves as Chair of the Golf Committee. He also participates in NAIOP, REIA and other industry associations. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Leadership from Bradley University with a minor in Entrepreneurship and concentration in HR management. In his leisure time, he enjoys weightlifting, golfing, playing club sports, and traveling.
Austin Wayne serves as a Business Development Officer for the National Commercial Services (NCS) Chicago operation. He works in close collaboration with the Chicago team of highly respected and responsive national underwriters, title and settlement professionals who can skillfully handle the multi-faceted requirements for commercial transactions spanning business segments and markets nationwide.
Austin is a member of the REAL Professionals Network. His sales and marketing experience, combined with his strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and positive and proactive disposition, make him an exceptional partner for Old Republic Title customers and NCS service delivery teams.
In his free time, Austin enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to new places, and is a sports enthusiast that loves to play volleyball, basketball, and golf. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management as well as a Master’s Degree in Health Administration.
