Kathy is a seasoned escrow professional and a valued member of Old Republic Title’s Albuquerque, NM escrow team since 2015.
Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Kathy worked for two national underwriters and brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as an Escrow Officer. Kathy works closely with each party in the transaction to ensure all communication is clear, concise and timely. She takes pride in achieving successful closings and securing forever clients.
Kathy has always had a passion for houses and the innerworkings of the entire home building, buying and selling process. She enjoys many aspects of her job, but the most rewarding is helping her clients achieve their dream of purchasing or selling a home.
Kathy was born in Anchorage, Alaska and grew up in a military family. Growing up she lived in several different places including Oregon, Ohio and Germany, which more than likely contributed to Kathy’s love of travel. Of all the places she has visited, Sicily, Italy is where she would like to call home when she retires. In her spare time, you can find Kathy either working out or on the hunt for a hot fudge sundae.
Renae Woods is a veteran in the title industry with 25 years of experience. In her role as Escrow Office at Old Republic Title’s New Mexico Academy Road office, she specializes in closing residential transactions.
Renae takes pride in her knowledge, competence and patience. She is dedicated to creating a positive and smooth closing experience for every client. Renae’s professional superpowers are organization and staying calm, which helps her juggle all the moving parts of a transaction while putting clients at ease. Her favorite part of the job is working with a variety of people and the reward of helping first-time homebuyers’ dreams come true.
Renae holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from New Mexico State University, which enhances her ability to effectively communicate and connect with her clients and customers.
Originally from Alamogordo, New Mexico, Renae moved to Albuquerque in 2003. She has been married to her wonderful husband Ken for 26 years. They share two daughters, Rachel and Selena; one granddaughter, Arianna; and a Yorkie/Norfolk Terrier named Sasha, all of whom bring them great joy.
Outside of the office, Renae enjoys cheering on her granddaughter at volleyball games and tournaments, and visiting her family in Houston as often as she can. She loves the ocean and being on the water, her happy place.

Bill Johnson is a 30+ year veteran of the title insurance industry and a member of Old Republic Title’s Business Development Department in Albuquerque, NM since 2010.
After graduating from Kent State University, Bill moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked for Old Republic Title. He transitioned to several organizations over the years, during which time he cultivated a passion and talent for sales and marketing. Bill worked as a County Manager for a California title company before relocating to New Mexico and returning to Old Republic Title to help the company expand into the Albuquerque market. He enjoys building and maintaining relationships with his clients, and working as part of a team to bring value to every transaction.
