The 2026 NMREC Core Course reviews key issues related to water and real estate, including how to handle a transaction with water rights. Brokers will also learn about solar rights and how solar access and easements affect a property. The course addresses current frauds and scams, emphasizing prevention, consumer protection red flags and next steps. It also explains important insurance types such as E&O, public liability, broker, and brokerage coverage. It ends with a finale of hot topics and legal updates which highlights the latest legislative and regulatory changes, litigations and hot button issues impacting real estate practice in New Mexico.
