National Commercial Services-Lex Operations-New York City

Richard serves as Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC), President, Lex Terrae National Title Services, and Manager of the National Commercial Services (NCS) New York operation. His responsibilities include oversight of additional NCS offices in the Eastern region of the country, providing national underwriting support, and directing his offices’ national business development activities in support of expanding Old Republic’s business in the national commercial title insurance market.

With a respected career of more than 40 years in the title insurance industry, Richard has participated in the leadership and daily operations of large independent and national title companies. Joining Old Republic Title in conjunction with a 2002 Company merger, he concentrates his efforts and those of his teams on providing superior customer service in closing multi-site, multi-state portfolios, high-liability transactions, and other complex and unique projects in a variety of commercial segments across the United States. Richard is a member of many professional groups and associations.

Susan is Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Manager, National Commercial Services Operation, Eastern Title Division. In her role, Susan manages the Hoboken NJ, New York City NY, and Hartford CT offices of the National Commercial Services (NCS) Division of ORNTIC.

Serving more than 25 years in the industry, Susan brings a wealth of transactional, legal and practical experience to her position. She is responsible for managing and coordinating national commercial transactions across the country, as well as shepherding complex title underwriting and escrow matters for large multi-site, multi-state portfolios and other high liability projects.

Susan is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Law and is a member of both the New Jersey State Bar Association and New York Bar Association.

Jack Feirman serves as Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Senior Underwriting Counsel of the National Commercial Services (NCS) New York operation. He is an accomplished attorney with over 40 years in private practice as a partner in two New York City law firms with extensive experience in real estate finance, development of commercial and multifamily projects construction and leasing. Jack is an honor graduate of Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts in history and attended the Harvard Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor graduating cum laude.

George Keenan is currently Vice President for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Counsel for the National Commercial Services (NCS) New York operation. He brings nearly 40 years of experience in corporate law, and has practiced in both law firm and private environments. George began his career in banking and real estate law. He has expertise in title insurance and curative and transactional work involving sales, acquisitions, financing, probate and trust and estate matters.

George obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University and his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s Law School. He is admitted to the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and is a member of the Real Property Section and the Trust and Estate Section. In his free time, he enjoys studying history and genealogy.

Melissa McGinn is currently Underwriting and Commercial Clearance Counsel for the National Commercial Services (NCS) New York operation. She is a seasoned title attorney with more than 30 years of title industry experience, including 18 years at the underwriter level. Melissa began her work as a Sales Assistant in the title industry in 1987. She progressed to more responsible positions as she earned her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law.

During her accomplished career, Melissa has participated in the issuance of title insurance for a broad array of large commercial transactions, including multi-site and multi-state projects and loan and acquisition portfolios valued in the billions of dollars. She is committed to underwriting practically yet prudently and providing exceptional customer service.

Melissa is admitted to the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). She enjoys reading and is involved in animal rescue initiatives in her free time.

Michael Atkins is Senior Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Sales Representative, National Commercial Services (NCS). Based in New York City, Michael manages many of Old Republic’s major national commercial institutional, development and private investor relationships including family offices. With 20 years of experience in the title insurance industry, Michael brings a deep expertise in guiding complex single asset and multi-billion dollar portfolio transactions in conjunction with the national team.

Michael is a Foundation Governor of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and helps shape many of ULI’s strategic initiatives and events in New York and nationally. He also acts as advisor to CrowdStreet, a leading investment platform in the commercial real estate industry. Michael's academic background includes Fulbright and Rotary Ambassadorial scholarships at the Graduate School of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland, where Michael earned Master’s degrees in International Economics and Law. He is the founder and President of the Graduate School’s New York Alumni Chapter. Michael completed Bachelor’s Degrees with Summa Cum Laude honors at the University of North Texas, and also holds graduate certificates in International Business and Finance from New York University. Michael is married and lives in Manhattan with his son, daughter, dog and bass guitar.

Jasmine Hahn brings a wealth of experience in both title insurance and real estate law to Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC), serving in her role as Attorney and Sales Representative for the National Commercial Services (NCS) New York operation. Collaborating closely with the Old Republic Title team, Jasmine specializes in closing complex commercial real estate transactions throughout the country. She maintains a keen focus on consistently providing customers with superior service throughout every aspect of the transaction process for each project.

Jasmine began her career in title insurance over 35 years ago as an independent title closer. In 1994-1998 she attended New York Law School while still working full-time as a title closer. Jasmine graduated law school with honors and was admitted to the New York State Bar (NYSB). She is currently a member of the NYSBA Real Property Law Section, the NYC Bar Association, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and serves on the Committee on Condominiums and Cooperatives and the Title and Transfer Committee at the NYSBA.

Michael Samuel is Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Senior National Transaction Representative for the National Commercial Services (NCS) New York operation. Drawing on his more than 40 years of experience in the title insurance industry, Michael works closely with national customers and serves as their liaison to Old Republic Title’s outstanding underwriting, title and escrow service teams on transactional matters.

Michael began his career as a title abstractor while attending college at the University of California, Berkeley. Following graduation, he advanced his knowledge and career in the title insurance industry by assuming new roles and relocating from the West Coast to New York. Today in his leisure time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, working on personal finance and investment projects, and participating in community service activities.

Bryce is a Vice President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (ORNTIC) and Title Officer, National Commercial Services. He brings 30 years of title industry experience to the Old Republic Title Team; three of which have been working with both the Hoboken and NYC offices. Bryce contributes to the team by providing both title examination and underwriting support. He enjoys the journey of a transaction from start to finish and has assisted in the successful closing of a variety of portfolios, such as marina facilities, storage facilities, office buildings and commercial retail properties.

Bryce holds a New Jersey Title Insurance Producer License, a Pennsylvania Title Insurance Producer License, and a bachelor's degree in Business from Western New England University. Originally from Long Island, Bryce has lived in both New York and New Jersey. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, as well as boating, fishing, clamming and surfing in the oceans, bays and beaches near his home and while travelling.
