Course Description:

Julia Phillips works as an Advisory Title Officer in our Lynnwood office, and teaches both internal and external education classes. Prior to joining Old Republic, Julia worked for over 4 years at one of the Northwest’s largest law firms, specializing in commercial litigation and bankruptcy. Julie then spent over six years at a national law firm representing lenders and trustees in real estate litigation, mediation, bankruptcy, title curative actions, and related civil matters. Julia also has prior experience in the title industry, primarily as a Claims Counsel for a major title insurance underwriter, handling title and escrow claims in eight states. Julia received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington and graduated from Seattle University School of Law. Julia is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Oregon State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
